Thankful for the past year

Dear Brother and Sisters in Christ,

As the seasons of the year changes throughout the church, at jobs, activities and family life we also experience many changes at House of Hope. We have had much to be thankful for in the year 2018.

The first event that was held in January was our annual “Evening of Hope” Gala Dinner.  For all those who participated and supported this evening we extend our sincere thank you.

Our next event was the concert held in April thanks to the Octavians, which was held at Hope Lutheran Church.

This was followed by our graduation in May. Many of you attended and once again congratulated the men who finished their year long program.

The summer months included our Demshar Trilogy – Breakfast, Bowling and Golf and Awards Banquet. Again you shared your time for a wonderful breakfast; a day of bowling with family and friends;  and an outstanding competition of golf, followed by a spectacular  dinner hosted by Demshar’s Restaurant.

The latest event was our Annual Yard Sale. This was a huge undertaking and once again so many helped in many ways. All of these combined are a blessing to the men at House of Hope.

We have experienced and shared a wonderful Thanksgiving with the men, their families and friends. It was a time to be thankful for all that God has provided for each one of us. We are now entering the Advent Season and Christmas Season.

From our family at House of Hope to each one of you we extend a blessed holiday season as we await the birth of Christ. We thank you for your continued support in so many ways – your time, your talent and your treasurers.

Blessings, Pastor Malcolm Mosley, Executive Director
